Much of the Los Cabos coastline is beautiful but not swimmable. If a swimmable beach matters to your group, say so early — it eliminates half the villa list before price comes up. We know which properties sit on genuinely swimmable water and recommend accordingly.

Palmilla is polish: a gated enclave by San José with calm, swimmable water, world-class golf, and a quieter evening pace — the family and honeymoon pick. Both book far ahead for peak weeks.

Los Cabos International (SJD) sits outside San José del Cabo — roughly 30–45 minutes from most Corridor and Cabo San Lucas villas depending on traffic.
